Are you enjoying your spring break?? I hope you are taking some time to work on some math though so you are well prepared for the HSA!!

I am so proud of those of you who emailed me or Ms. Moretti regarding extra credit voice thread or just questions on your packet. It shows your determination and effort!


There are some things that were left out:

(11) The scale is 1 inch = 5 feet.
(16) The upper half of the circle is shaded.

What's Your F(X)?

It's Quarter 3, and in Ms. Park and Ms. M's 7th grade math class, we are learning about FUNCTIONS!

For a cool input-output machine, click here. Try plugging different values into the machine and seeing what comes out. Then, figure out the pattern or function that is happening. This will set you up to SCORE on the big HSA!

Once you are comfortable with the basics of functions, try Interactivate's Function Machine and Linear Function Machine. All of these activities will serve you well in prepping for class AND the big game!

Welcome Back

Welcome Back to Wheeler!

It's Quarter 3, and there is a new BIG GAME coming up - the HSA! In Quarters 1 & 2, we took quarterly assessments to practice for the comprehensive HSA, which will be administered in April. This test will cover ALL Grade 7 concepts and will give each student a level of mastery - Exceeds, Meets, Approaches, or Well Below Proficiency. Our goal is for every student to achieve an "Exceeds" or "Meets" on this challenging test, and Ms. Park and Ms. M are committed to helping each of you practice and prepare for game day!

We're jumping right back into the content, so here is homework for our first week of school:
